Lakeline Square Town Homes wins Green Building of America Award!! From more than 2,500 nominated projects, Lakeline Square Town Homes has been selected as a Green Building of America Award-winning Project and will be featured in the upcoming special Real Estate & Construction Review-Southwest Green Success Stories edition. Each Green Building of America Success Story project is highlighted in a case study that intertwines the words of the project's owner/developer, consultants, architects and contractors to explain how the teams worked together to design and build one of the region's most important, innovative or unique new or renovated sustainable facilities. May, 2009 Update Things are moving forward at Lakeline Square. The slab for the foundation of building 3 was poured yesterday. Work has started on one of the front entrance gates to the community. We now have a community garden in the green space. And doggie clean up stations have been installed in the doggie park.
April, 2009 Update We are continuing to make progress at Lakeline Square. On April 21st we broke ground on the foundation for building 3. The slab is being prepped and formed and the concrete should be poured next week. One of the front entrance gates to the community will be installed next week. We will also be installing a community garden in the green space next week. December 6th, 2008 Update Building 6, units 601 through 610, are now complete. We will be installing one of the two entrance gates soon. We will also be installing a gazebo in the green space. We hope to have Phase 3 started sometime during the holidays.  November 12th, 2008 Update Lakeline Square is looking good. Building 8, units 801 through 810, is completed. Building 7, units 701 through 708, is completed. Building 6, units 601 through 610, should be completed by end of November. The doggie park enclosure is completed and the pathway connecting the doggie park to the green space is completed. We hope to have Phase 3 started sometime during the holidays. The community is shaping up nicely. September 23rd, 2008 Update Lakeline Square has been a beehive of activity during the past few weeks. In building 8, units 801 through 810, exterior stone is being installed, hardwood floors are being installed, plumbing trim is completed, the roof has been installed, carpet and appliances will be installed this week, and we are approx 15 to 30 days away from completion. Building 7, units 701 through 708, stucco will be completed this week, garage doors installed, wood trim has been installed, painting is in progress, tile floors are in progress, kitchen cabinets have been installed, and we are approx 21 to 45 days away from completion. Building 6, units 601 through 610, electric, plumbing and HVAC rough ins installed, insulation is being installed, drywall is being loaded, and we are approx 60 days away from completion. The town home community is taking shape every day. August 1st, 2008 Update It is hot here in Austin and things are hot and moving quickly at Lakeline Square. In building 8, units 801 through 810, the roof has been sheathed and papered, windows and sliding glass doors have been installed, the building is “dried in”, rough HVAC is completed, rough plumbing completed, and rough electric in process. Building 7, units 701 through 708, roof trusses are installed and roof sheathing should start later today, windows and sliding glass doors have been delivered and will be installed next week. Building 6, units 601 through 610, framing has started and the second floor is framed and they are starting on the third floor. The town home community is starting to take shape with 3 buildings under construction. July 1st, 2008 Update We are continuing to make progress at Lakeline Square. Building 8, units 801 through 810, the roof frame is being sheathed, windows and sliding glass doors have been delivered and will be installed soon, and the roof felt paper will be installed next week and the building will be “dried in”. Building 7, units 701 through 708, framing has started and the third floor floor trusses have already been installed. Building 6, units 601 through 610, the foundation was poured and framing has started. The green space grass and landscaping are starting to grow in and look great. We also installed a purple martin bird house in the open space, which should be populated by next Spring.
